Let me know if you've heard this one before - a show that features spooky things caught on camera. There were two inspirations I used when I began mapping out my execution. One was a poster I had seen of a campy horror movie called [REC] that utilized the red dot "recording" indicator to similar effect. I thought it was clever so I borrowed that idea. The second inspiration came from a moment inThe Matrix where we, the audience move from one scene to the next via a camera movement that moves through a television screen. I thought that would be a clever way to transition from the title into the opening shot of the show.
